African nations urged to set aside enough funds to fight climate change.

African countries have been urged to set aside enough budgets to support the fight against environmental-related challenges which of late have been impacting the society greatly.

Speaking at the official launch of the Climate Financing Tracking Study for Agriculture and Livestock Ministries in the country, Climate Changes Forum (FORUM CC) board chairman Euster Kibona said it is aimed at reviewing budgets set for 2009/10 and 2013/14 in those ministries.

According to her, so far no fund has been set aside to fight against the impact of climatic change.

She said climate change relevance budget set aside during the 2009/2010 and 2013/2014 years was more conversing compared to the five years of the study.
