Lilongwe — Malawi is in the 2013/2014 rainfall season expected to receive normal total amounts of rainfall giving hope of bumper harvest, Elina Kululanga, Spokesperson for the Meteorological Department confirmed Tuesday.

According to information sourced from the meteorological department website, the Seventeenth Southern Africa Regional Climate Outlook Forum (SARCOF-17) was held in Harare, Zimbabwe from 19 to 30 August 2013 came up with a consensus climate forecast for the 2013/2014 rainfall season for the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) region.   Full Article
