THE Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) and the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) recorded significant achievements in aviation safety and security last year, spokesman of the Aviation Parastatals Yakubu Dati has said.

He listed some of achievements by NIMET to include the installation of the Doppler Weather Radar and the Calibrated Meteorological Instrument used to detect and track hazardous weather systems on real-time basis and which guarantees weather data reliability.  Full Article
