Meteorologists to train at National Advanced School of Engineering

THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT AND MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION HAVE JOINTLY SIGNED A PROTOCOL OF AGREEMENT TO TRAIN METEOROLOGISTS. THE AGREEMENT WAS SIGNED ON 10TH OCTOBER 2014 IN YAOUNDE.

According to the protocol of agreement, engineers in meteorology will be trained in the National Advanced School of Engineering (ENSPY) in Yaounde.

During the occasion, the Minister of Transport Robert Nkili said it is the wish of the Head of States to train engineers of meteorology at the school of engineering and the sum of 200 million will be disbursed to begin this program in 2015.

The program will enable Cameroonians to have a mastery of climate change and weather forecast. According to the agreement, the university will contribute valuably and concretely in improving the living conditions of the people.  Full Article
